Ask Trivelle

Your questions, answered honestly

Everything families ask us about care, rooms, meals, visits and admission — in plain language, with nothing glossed over.

Plain answers

What families ask us most

These are the real questions we hear on WhatsApp and on tours. If yours isn't here, just ask — we'd rather give you a straight answer than a polished one.

Who can Trivelle Living accept?

We welcome seniors aged 55 and above who are medically stable — including wheelchair users, those needing help with daily living, and those with mild to moderate dementia. We are a residential care centre, not a hospital, so we cannot accept residents needing tube feeding, catheter or stoma care, dialysis, continuous oxygen, or intensive medical treatment. Our team confirms suitability through a short pre-admission assessment.

What is included in the monthly fee?

Accommodation, basic care services and daily living arrangements, four nutritious meals a day (every meal with soup), daily housekeeping and laundry, weekday activities, and safety monitoring with an emergency bell and 24-hour CCTV.

Do the rooms have their own bathrooms?

Nearly every room comes with an attached private bathroom, and every room has an outside-facing window for natural light and air. Two rooms (the ground-floor 6-sharing room and the 2nd-floor 3-sharing room) instead enjoy step-free access to well-appointed shared bathroom facilities.

Is the care team medically trained?

Our professional care team is on duty 24/7, with caregivers trained in Basic Life Support (BLS), CPR and First Aid. A registered nurse conducts weekly rounds, health is managed with regular assessments, and our target caregiver ratio is 1 to every 3–4 residents.

What do residents do all day?

Weekdays bring daily brain-boosting activities — memory training, games, hand-eye coordination, music interaction, and art & craft — alongside daily morning exercise. Weekends are free and easy for family visits and rest. We also host four free events a year: Chinese New Year, a Parents' Day outing, the Mooncake Festival, and Christmas.

How do visits work?

Family are welcome daily from 10 AM to 7 PM, with quiet time from 1–3 PM so residents can rest.

How does day care booking work?

Day care runs 7 AM – 7 PM at RM160 per day including four meals. Book by 5 PM the day before. Passes (all valid 1 month): 5 visits RM765, 15 visits RM2,175, or a monthly pass at RM4,140 — passes are non-transferable and non-refundable, and unused visits expire after the validity period.

What happens if I'm late picking up from day care?

Please pick up by 7 PM. After that, RM10 applies per 30 minutes (or part thereof). If a guest is still with us after 8 PM, the visit converts to a Short-Term Stay billed at RM250/day, with pick-up the following day — so every guest always has a proper bed for the night.

Can I choose a room for a short-term stay?

Short-term stays (RM250/day including four meals) are assigned to available rooms, so a specific room type can't be reserved. A medical bed can be added at RM50/day; once selected, it cannot be changed to a normal bed during the stay. Staying 8 days 7 nights? You get one extra night free — added on to your stay.

How does admission work?

Start with a WhatsApp message or the enquiry form. We'll send a short intake questionnaire, arrange a care assessment, and invite you to tour the home in Country Heights. Move-in requires the first month's fee plus a 1.5-month refundable deposit.

Is Trivelle Living religiously or culturally restrictive?

We are a Christian-owned home that warmly welcomes residents of all faiths. We are sensitive to Chinese customs — beds are never placed facing the door — and religious texts are welcome. For everyone's safety, incense burning is not permitted indoors.
